Barcelona midfield maestro signs new deal
Barcelona have today confirmed that midfielder Sergio Busquets has signed a new deal at the La Liga champions, keeping him at the Camp Nou until 2021.

The new five-year-deal for the Spaniard comes at a time where transfer rumours regarding the midfielder starting to appear in the press. Depending on appearances during this new contract, there is also a two-year extension being offered to their holding midfielder.
The deal is set to be signed by the Spaniard in the coming days, with ESPN reporting that the buyout clause situated in Busquets’ contract is set at €200m.
Busquets is a product of Barcelona’s famous youth system, La Masia, and is always improving with every appearance he makes for the Catalans.
During his eight years of which he’s been involved with Barcelona’s first team, it’s no doubt that the 27-year-old has won a trophy or two – six La Liga titles, three Champions Leagues and four Copa Del Rey medals to be exact.
At this current time, the 2010 World Cup winner is currently away with his nation on international duty, where Spain will be heading to France with a hope of winning their third consecutive European crown.
