Sevilla look to seal Ben Arfa deal
According to Goal, Europa League winners Sevilla are looking to close a deal for French wideman, Hatem Ben Arfa this week.
Ben Arfa, who is a free agent after leaving Nice this summer, was recently linked to the likes of Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain. It is believed that the player would prefer a move to the French champions but an offer has not materialised as PSG have been busy installing new manager Unai Emery, who replaced Laurent Blanc this week.
The 29 year old was undoubtedly one of Ligue 1’s most impressive players last season and his stellar contribution brought Nice a top four finish. While contributing an amazing 17 goals and six assists, he unfortunately didn’t make the cut for France’s Euro 2016 squad due to an abundance of attacking prowess at Didier Deschamps’ disposal.
It is believed the talented winger/forward will sign a three-year contract with Sevilla and will receive a massive signing-on fee of approximately €10 million.
