Return to La Liga on the cards for Bacca?
Is former Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca set for a sensational return to La Liga?
AS are reporting that the Milan forward is wanted by Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid this summer. Atleti are desperate for reinforcements to their front line, especially for a robust, hard working number nine who knows where the goal is, and the Colombian international fits the bill.
This is something Simeone is desperate to inject into his team, something he hasn’t quite had since Diego Costa left to join Chelsea.
It is rumoured that the fee for the 29 year old could be as high as €30 million if Atleti are to prize him from the Italian giants. This fee wouldn’t be too much of a problem for Los Rojiblancos who still have £32 million pounds from the sale of Jackson Martinez to Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande.
Bacca enjoyed an excellent first season in Italy, scoring 20 goals in 43 games in both the league and Coppa Italia.
