Real Madrid name their price for James Rodriguez
A lot has been made about James Rodriguez’s future at Real Madrid, but it looks as if the Colombian will be on his way out of the club should his asking price be met.
The news comes courtesy of MARCA, who say that Real have slapped a €75million price tag on the midfielder’s head, as they look to at least break even on a deal for the player.
A number of Premier League clubs have been linked with the 25-year-old in recent weeks, including Arsenal, Manchester United and West Ham, though no formal offers have been made by any club.
Following an impressive World Cup campaign in Brazil which earned him his Real move two years ago, Rodriguez was highly effective in his first season at Los Blancos, scoring and setting up 13 goals in La Liga.
However, in his second season, James figured in the starting XI for less than 50% of league games – with both Rafa Benitez and Zinedine Zidane opting for Isco as the main attacking midfielder.
