Atletico Madrid eyeing Rondon move
Atletico Madrid are eyeing up a move for West Brom striker Salomon Rondon this summer.
According to the Daily Mail, Rondon is one of a number of strikers Atletico are looking at.
The report claims that Atletico want to sign Sergio Aguero or Edinson Cavani, but are also keeping tabs on Jamie Vardy and Salomon Rondon as they look to cover all bases.
Atletico have a gap to fill with Fernando Torres leaving upon the expiration of his contract, and Antoine Griezmann is heavily expected to make the switch to Barcelona over the coming months.
West Brom’s relegation to the Championship is sure to spell the exit of a number of players, with Rondon looking likely to be one of the most courted.
The forward netted ten times in all competitions last season and has been with the club three years.
Rondon joined from Zenit for £12m in 2015 and has scored 28 goals in that time.
